It’s been quite some time since I have updated here. There’s been a lot going on and I’ve been trying to stay focused on the projects in the hopper.
Over the last 10 months or so, here are some things that have been going on.

I recorded a 10″ record with Nashville natives, Ttotals. It is called “Silver on Black” and you can take a listen and buy it here:

We also recorded two new songs for a 7″ series that will be put out by Sonic Cathedral. One of the songs will be selected by the label and then mastered by Sonic Boom from Spacemen 3 for release.

Help Craig Schumacher of WaveLab Studios

Craig Schumacher is a wonderful engineer and needs some help. He is the owner/operator of WaveLab Studios in Tucson where, among many others, he has recorded; Neko Case, Calexico, DeVotchKa, Animal Collective, and Iron and Wine.

Earlier this year Craig was diagnosed with head and neck cancer. His doctors believe that with the proper treatments (which have already begun), he stands a good chance of beating this. The bad news is that the treatments are painful and costly. The out-of-pocket expenses will be enormous, not to mention the fact that there will be periods in which Craig will not be able to work.

I started Zero Art Radio 12 years ago this October.Â We went through a lot of crazy times and fights with large labels and in the end it was just costing too much money to keep up the labor of love in the format that we tried to keep it in.Â It was always a labor of love and all I and everyone involved ever wanted to do was expose great artists to lots of people.Â We did accomplish that over the years and for that we were very happy.
